Position Overview

As a Stress Test Technician, you will be responsible for conducting cardiac stress tests and monitoring patient performance to assist in the evaluation of heart function. Your role ensures accurate test administration, patient safety, and valuable support for physicians in diagnosing and managing cardiovascular conditions.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for cardiac stress testing procedures by explaining protocols and ensuring readiness.
  • Conduct stress tests in accordance with established medical standards and protocols.
  • Monitor patient performance, vital signs, and responses during testing to ensure safety and accuracy.
  • Operate and maintain stress test equipment, ensuring optimal performance and calibration.
  • Accurately document test results and patient responses for physician evaluation.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and healthcare teams in analyzing and interpreting stress test outcomes.

Qualification

  • Graduate of a healthcare-related course (e.g., Nursing, Medical Technology, Physical Therapy, or equivalent).
  • With specialized training in cardiac stress testing.
  • Relevant experience in conducting cardiac diagnostic procedures is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of cardiac physiology, stress test protocols, and patient monitoring.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills for patient care and education.
  • Ability to work effectively with physicians and healthcare teams.
