Radiologic Technician

Position Overview

As a Radiologic Technician, you will be responsible for operating advanced imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic X-rays for medical evaluation. Your role ensures accurate imaging, patient safety, and support for physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operate X-ray and other diagnostic imaging equipment in accordance with safety and quality standards.
  • Prepare and position patients properly to obtain accurate imaging results.
  • Ensure radiation safety measures are observed for both patients and staff.
  • Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Record and document imaging procedures accurately in patient files.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to provide diagnostic support.
  • Educate patients on procedures to ensure understanding and comfort.
  • Adhere to infection control, safety, and confidentiality protocols.

Qualification

  • Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology (BSRT) graduate.
  • Must be a Registered Radiologic Technologist with a valid PRC license.
  • With relevant experience in diagnostic imaging or radiology department.
  • Strong technical knowledge of imaging equipment and radiation safety.
  • Good communication and patient care skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
