HMO Nurse

Position Overview

As an HMO Nurse, you will be responsible for coordinating HMO requirements, approvals, and documentation to facilitate patient access to covered healthcare services. Your role ensures accurate processing, compliance with HMO policies, and efficient support for both patients and the healthcare team.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and process HMO requirements, approvals, and documentation for patient services.
  • Verify patient eligibility, coverage, and benefits with respective HMO providers.
  • Assist patients in completing HMO-related forms and requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of approvals, claims, and reimbursements.
  • Communicate and follow up with HMO representatives regarding claims or approvals.
  • Provide guidance to patients and staff on HMO processes and policies.

Qualification

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) graduate.
  • Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid PRC license.
  • Preferably with experience in HMO coordination, claims processing, or clinical documentation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient and provider interaction.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
