Valid
ID

Please bring valid ID (SSS, National ID, Voters, etc) as a deposit to our recorder. Make sure you won’t use the surrendered ID within 24 hours after placing the recorder.

During the 24-Hour ABPM

Your heart rate and blood pressure will be measured every half hour during daytime (6AM to 10PM) and hourly throughout the night (10PM to 6AM).
While a measurement is in progress, the cuff will expand and exert pressure on your arm. It's advisable to keep your arm straight and refrain from moving during the cuff's inflation and deflation cycles, as this could disrupt the reading.
During the nighttime, the cuff remains on your arm, and the monitor is positioned beside you on the bed or underneath your pillow.
A diary will be provided wherein you are required to record your activities and any symptoms you experience while the recorder is in use. Feel free to maintain your usual routine, except for activities that could potentially expose the electrodes and the recorder to moisture water.
If the monitor has trouble getting a reading, it may reinflate in a minute or so to try a second time.
If the cuff is simply too uncomfortable, you can loosen it by peeling the cuff off your arm but make sure to return it appropriately in your arm for accurate results.
Do not press any of the buttons on the monitor itself.
The ABPM machine can only be removed by the clinic staff the following day.
Be sure to keep the monitor on its case. Do not get the monitor wet. Do not drop the monitor.
Kindly return to the Heart Station 50 minutes before the end of your 24-hour recording period (since the battery could only last for 24 hours). Recording may be deleted if the time surpasses the expected duration.
Results will be available after 5–7 working days or earlier. For confirmation of results Please call Interpath Heart Station at Smart / PLDT 8570–2712.
